We have transformed a spacious basement of a beautifully restored farmhouse into a lavish home cinema room, featuring a huge 165 inch 2.35:1 screen pared with the Sony VPL-VW550 4K projector, a 7.2.2 Dali system fills the room.

This ten seat cinema room, features a fiber optic star ceiling. This high-spec cinema blends retro styling with contemporary touches, creating a stunning viewing experience.

The finished cinema area measures approximately 6.7 meters from front to back and slightly over 5 meters wide at the widest point, with an original ceiling height of 2.32 meters. The project spanned several months, prioritizing quality over speed.

Our choice of the VPL-VW550 projector was driven by the need for an Ultra HD model with motorized zoom, focus, lens shift, and lens memories to accommodate various aspect ratios at a constant image height on the 2.35:1 screen.

Everything in the cinema is controlled with a Control4 EA3 via a single remote or the client's iPhone.
